One-and-a-half weeks after our boys were murdered while hiking, terrorists fired high powered browning machine gun rounds into our village. In two attacks on two nights, bullets came flying from a neighboring hilltop. Thank G-d, no one was injured.
The Mandel home was among those hit (Kobi Mandel, Z'L, is one of the boys who were murdered). Kobi's little sister's jewelery box was hit and destroyed. Across the way, the Cooper's home also was pierced by a bullet. As if to accentuate the sinister disregard for life, their too a little 4 year old girl's jewelery box was also destroyed...
After its 2 second, 2.5 kilometer flight the bullet scorched the desk and destroyed this jewelry box.
